Closed

The Gelman Library building is closed for a significant HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) system maintenance project. Himmelfarb Health Sciences Library remains available for students and faculty of SMHS, GWSPH, and SON. For faculty and for students enrolled in summer courses at other GW schools, the Burns Law Library is available through August 10, 2026.

Support for Open Access

GW Libraries is committed to advocacy and support of Open Access (OA) publishing and scholarship. We do this through institutional memberships, support of external OA initiatives and projects, development and maintenance of GW's institutional repository ScholarSpace, publication of OA journals for GW faculty and students, and support for the GW Open Access Policy.
