The Center for Undergraduate Fellowships and Research, CUFR, provides academic mentorship to GW students and alumni who are applying for international, national, and GW-specific awards and research opportunities and funding. In collaborative learning spaces, CUFR invites you to explore and engage in experiences that will shape not only your future but also the communities and world you impact.
Housed in Gelman Library, a unit within Libraries and Academic Innovation, the Center for Undergraduate Fellowships and Research provides individualized and group mentorship to all GW students and alumni pursuing national awards, fellowships, and undergraduate research opportunities.
Connect with CUFR staff who will support you throughout your fellowship and undergraduate research journey. They offer expert support in identifying opportunities, strengthening applications, securing funding, preparing for interviews, and crafting your story.
The CUFR Peer Ambassadors are here to answer any questions you may have about national awards, undergraduate research, CUFR internal awards, and how CUFR can support your personal growth, professional development, and professional advancement.
This form is for faculty, librarians, and staff to recommend students to meet with the Center for Undergraduate Fellowships and Research team to discuss their eligibility for national awards. Your referral could be the motivation a student needs to do something great.
