APCs Waived for Open Access Cambridge Journals

As an upgrade to our existing journals subscription, GW affiliates are now able to waive Article Processing Charges (APCs) when publishing in certain Cambridge Journals that are “Hybrid” or “Gold” Open Access. GW Libraries and Academic Innovation, in partnership with Himmelfarb Health Sciences Library and Burns Law Library, has entered a new “transformative” agreement with Cambridge University Press. This agreement was negotiated through the NorthEast Research Libraries Consortium (NERL).

See which journals are covered here.

Select “United States” and “George Washington University” then click “View Your Publishing Agreement” to view the list.

To be eligible, articles must:

  • Have a corresponding author affiliated with GWU.
  • Be original research – eligible article types are research articles, review articles, rapid communications, brief reports and case reports.
  • Be accepted for publication in a Cambridge University Press journal covered by the agreement.
  • Be accepted for publication from 1 January 2022.

Please contact Josh McDonald, Debbie Bezanson, or Ruth Bueter for more information.
