Interlibrary Loan
LIMITED ILL SERVICES
Not all libraries have restarted lending their items through Interlibrary Loan. We are accepting requests to borrow items, which can be picked up at Gelman or VSTC libraries by appointment, or for those users not local to DC, shipped via FedEx Ground. In some cases, it may take 2-3 weeks to receive ILL books.
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is a service available to current GW students registered for credit, and current faculty members and staff.
You can request material not available at any of the GW Libraries or Washington Research Libraries Consortium (WRLC) libraries.
Looking for a textbook? Please visit GW Campus Stores for rental and purchase options. Interlibrary Loan is not a source for current textbooks. If you are looking for older editions of textbooks, pre-2015, we may be able to borrow those from other libraries.
If you are affiliated with the GW Schools of Public Health, Nursing or Medicine, please request via Himmelfarb Library. If you are affiliated with the GW Law School, please request via Jacob Burns Law Library. All other current GW faculty, students, and staff should log in here:
