GW Student, Faculty, and Staff Access
Entrance to Gelman Library is available to GW students, faculty, staff, and alumni who have a physical GWorld card enabled for campus access. No one will be allowed to sign in without a physical GWorld card or enter the library if their GWorld card tap is denied.
Visitor Access
All other alumni and visitor access to the library buildings is only available for:
- Users of specialized collections with an appointment (including the Special Collections Research Center and Global Resources Center),
- Students/staff of the School Without Walls, and
- Attendees of scheduled events
Spring Building Hours
January 14 - May 8, 2025
Open 24-hours Sunday-Saturday.
May 9 - May 16, 2025
Friday, May 9th: Close at 10pm
Saturday May 10 - Sunday May 11: Noon - 6pm
Monday May 12 - Friday May 16: 7am - 8pm
