Gelman Library will be closed May 17 - August 17, 2025, for a significant HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) system maintenance project. Media Resources from GW Libraries

More than 6,000 media titles are available to GW students, faculty, and staff, including educational media materials, feature films, award-winning documentaries, and GW-produced multimedia resources. 

  • Streaming video titles are linked through the library’s catalog: GW Libraries Streaming Videos
  • Many DVDs are located on the first floor of Gelman Library, and more are available from other sites.
  • Most media items can be borrowed at the Check Out desk on the entrance floor during operating hours. Learn details about borrowing materials.
