Kevin Knudsen (he/him/his) is the Director of Academic Commons in the Division of Libraries and Academic Innovation. He oversees the learning assistance programming offered through Academic Commons, including the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA) certified tutor program, the statistical consultants, the academic skills workshops, the Ask Us Desk, and more. Kevin also works with campus partners to help ensure that students are provided with high-quality and engaging academic support. Kevin serves as the President of the Maryland College Learning Center Association and a CRLA International Tutor Training Program Certification reviewer. He earned his Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Salisbury University and is currently working on his Ed.D. in Human and Organizational Learning here at GW.
During operating hours, building access is available to GW students, faculty, and staff who have completed all of the steps outlined on GW's Onward website. No one will be allowed to sign in without a physical GWorld card or enter the library if their GWorld card tap is denied. Library access is not available for alumni or visitors. Masks are required inside all library buildings.
