Lockers at Gelman

Where are the Lockers Located?

Lockers are currently available for rent in Gelman Library on the 4th and 5th floors (located in the hallway past the bathrooms) and the Graduate Student Study Room (Gelman 503). 

The lockers located on the 4th and 5th floors are available for use by all GW students.  Lockers located in Gelman 503 are for the exclusive use of Graduate Student Study Room patrons. Rentals in Gelman 503 are limited to GW graduate students (except Law and Medical School students).

How Long May I Rent a Locker and How Much is the Cost?

All locker rentals are contracted by the semester (Fall, Spring, and Summer).  Students may rent lockers per semester or for the academic year (a total of 3 semesters, (Fall, Spring, and Summer). Locker rentals begin on the first day of classes and end on the last day of scheduled finals for the selected semester(s).  

The rental fee is $20 per semester, including the summer, this fee is not prorated. Lockers are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.

How Do I Rent a Locker?

To begin the process, complete the Gelman Library Locker Rental Agreement (all GW students) or the Graduate Study Room 503 Locker Rental Agreement (Grad students only). Once you complete the form, you will be directed via a link to make an online payment for your locker rental.

Completed forms are submitted electronically to Wanda Almodovar, who will contact you via email within five business days. In the email, you will be given an assigned locker with a combination lock and pre-set pin code.
