Where are the Lockers Located?
Lockers are currently available for rent in Gelman Library on the 4th and 5th floors (located in the hallway past the restrooms) and the Graduate Student Reading Room (Gelman 500).
The lockers located on the 4th and 5th floors are available for rental by all GW students. Lockers located in the Graduate Student Reading Room (Gelman 500) are for the exclusive use of GW graduate students.
How Long May I Rent a Locker and How Much is the Cost?
Students may rent lockers per semester (Fall, Spring, and Summer). Locker rentals begin on the first day of classes and end on the last day of scheduled finals for the selected semester(s).
The rental fee is $20 per semester, including the summer. This fee is not prorated. Lockers are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
How Do I Rent a Locker?
To begin the process, complete the Gelman Library Locker Request Form or the Gelman Library Graduate Reading Room Locker Request Form (graduate students only). Once you complete the form, you will be directed via a link to make an online payment for your locker rental. Your rental request is not complete until both steps have been completed.
Completed forms and payments are submitted electronically to the Access Services Department, who will contact you via email about your assigned locker number and combination.
