The Instructional Core team partners with faculty to facilitate course design and enhance teaching methods using a variety of evidence-based teaching practices, in-depth workshops, classroom technologies, and creative media tools. We can help provide expertise to faculty who are teaching in person, as well as in hybrid and online learning environments.
Our team is composed of educational consultants, instructional designers, media producers, and instructional technology specialists. We can partner with you on analyzing the needs of your students to develop and teach a course that will keep them inspired and engaged throughout the semester. Through programs, workshops, and consultations, we can work with you from concept to completion.
- Educational consultants can provide pedagogical guidance and help refine teaching strategies, assignments, and ways to assess teaching in all modalities.
- Instructional designers can work with you to plan your course, define assessments and activities, consult on course materials, and establish evaluation methods for online courses.
- Media producers can partner with you through both online course media and special digital media teaching projects to define a media strategy, craft the story told in media, design visual support elements, and produce digital media assets.
- Instructional technology specialists can provide technical assistance on Blackboard and other learning technologies.
We look forward to collaborating with you on utilizing research-supported instructional practices and creative technologies, and continuously improving your students’ learning experiences.
