Selena (she/her) is the National Education Association (NEA) Archivist at GW's Special Collections Research Center. She works to make the NEA Archives and other education-related collections accessible to public and GW-affiliated researchers. Selena provides reference services to students, staff, faculty, and external researchers about the NEA and education history in addition to supporting primary source instruction and archival research strategies.
Before starting at GW in 2022, Selena gained experience in academic archives, corporate archives, historical societies, and living history museums through professional and student work. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from James Madison University and a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of Maryland, College Park.
