Katie Black, PhD

Katie is an Instructional Designer within the Center for Teaching Excellence. Before joining GW, she spent eight years as a Teaching Professor in Neuroscience. Together, her PhD in Neuroscience and Certificate in Learning Experience Design shape her approach to instructional design. She is passionate about developing accessible and authentic learning experiences. When she isn't working, you can find her trying new restaurants or starting a new crafting hobby.
