As a Data Services Librarian, I am committed to FAIR data practices, with a strong focus on data accessibility, preservation, and open source/open access. My goal is to help researchers effectively manage, analyze, and share data in ways that enhance its usability and long-term impact.
I provide support in a wide range of data-related areas, including:

I specialize in quantitative (numerical) research design, analysis and statistical theory, though I can also advise on qualitative (text-based) analysis. The statistical programs and tools I support include Excel/Google Sheets, MATLAB, NVivo, Qualtrics, R, SAS, STATA, and SPSS, and I can also help with citation managers like Zotero or RefWorks.
Before joining GW, I was an adjunct professor of psychology, teaching courses in research methods, statistics in the social sciences, developmental and cognitive psychology, human development, and cognitive neuroscience. I earned my Ph.D. from the University of Washington, where my dissertation used event-related potential (ERP) recordings to examine electrical activity in infants' and adults' brains in response to different types of cause-and-effect relationships. My postdoctoral work at UC San Diego focused on the psychobiology of infant visual development, and I contributed to the Baby Sibs Consortium, studying early identifiers of Autism Spectrum Disorders.
