Hours Overview: Spring 2021

Monday, January 11, 2021 - Tuesday, May 11, 2021

Entrance to Gelman library is only available to residential students and to GW students, faculty, and staff who have special permission to be on campus (the on-campus cohort). Those who are not part of the on-campus cohort will not have physical access to campus buildings. 

Individuals entering Gelman library must:

  • have a seat reservation,
  • be wearing a mask, and
  • have their physical GWorld card to swipe 

Gelman Library Building Hours

Building hours are subject to change throughout the semester. 

Sunday-Thursday: Noon-8pm
Friday & Saturdau: Noon-6pm

Gelman Library is closed to visitors. In order to protect the health and safety of GW students, faculty and staff, all campus buildings are restricted 24/7 and require an authorized GWorld card for entry. This includes all campus libraries.

Thursday, December 24 - Sunday, January 3: CLOSED

Monday, January 4 - Sunday, January 10: Noon-6pm

Monday, January 11: Resume regular semester hours

Monday, January 18: No Classes. Library status to be determined.

Inauguration Day

Wednesday, January 20: No Classes. Library status to be determined.

President's Day

Monday, February 15:  No Classes. Library status to be determined.

Spring Break

Monday, March 15 - Saturday, March 20: No Classes. Library status to be determined.
