What is scholarly communications?
Scholarly communications speaks to the systems and services surrounding scholarly research and writing. It covers the creation, preservation, dissemination, evaluation, and accessibility of scholarly products in a variety of formats.
GW Libraries provides resources and services to assist scholars throughout the scholarly research process. These resources and services have been identified in the navigation menu to the left. Additional services and resources are also available across GW, so please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions.
Scholarly Communications Committee
The Scholarly Communications Committee is composed of members from departments across GW Libraries. These individuals are dedicated to assisting researchers, investigating new tools and resources, and identifying and filling service gaps at GW in the area of scholarly communication. Currently the Scholarly Communication Committee is working on campus outreach and education related to open access and GW ScholarSpace, GW’s institutional repository.
