Please confirm that neither GW Libraries nor member libraries of the Washington Research Library Consortium (WRLC) provide access to the item(s) you need. Book or media titles should be searched in the Catalog and access to an article should be checked by conducting a journal title search.
From the GW Libraries homepage, hover over the Find and Borrow dropdown menu and select Borrow, Renew, and Request. Scroll down to select Interlibrary Loan.
On the Interlibrary Loan page, click .
You may be taken to the ILL screen directly. If not, on the authentication screen, enter your university name, UserID, and password.
If you are making a new request, click the down arrow next to New Requests, and choose either Book or Media Request, Book Chapter Request, or Article Request:
Fill out the request form with as much information as possible, and don't forget to click on the Submit Request button at the bottom of the page.
You will receive an email from our Interlibrary Loan Office when your requested item is available, or if there are any questions about your request.
