This is dependent on the safety for staff to work in the building.

Top Textbooks and Course Reserves

Many digital versions of Top Textbooks are available for free through a partnership between the GW Campus Store and the publishing community. RedShelf can provide you with up to 7 free eBooks from participating publishers through May 25th. Links to the digital version of individual Top Textbooks are available on the Top Textbooks page. You will be required to create a free RedShelf account with your GW email address to borrow books. Visit RedShelf to see if your other assigned textbooks are available.

Top Textbooks not available on RedShelf and hard copy reserve readings assigned during the virtual instruction period are available via Blackboard. If you are a faculty member and need to request assigned readings be added to Blackboard, please contact libresrv@gwu.edu for assistance. Students, if you have required reading assignments due for spring semester that are not on Blackboard, please contact your instructor.

Returning Library Materials and Overdue Materials

The due date on all borrowed materials has been extended until May 15, 2020, and will be automatically renewed until students return to campus.

We will communicate directly to work with students who are not returning to campus after the spring semester because of graduation or other circumstances. While it is important that materials be returned to the libraries, we understand these are unprecedented circumstances and will work with the GW community with respect to individual situations.
