Are you and your students getting tired of message boards where they post a response and reply to two peers? Are you struggling with participation in virtual discussions? Join us for a look at different tools and methods for facilitating discussions online. We will share strategies for both synchronous and asynchronous conversations, with a special focus on crafting engaging prompts.
All sessions are free to GW students, faculty, staff, and alumni. Attendance requires no reservation, but registration is requested. This workshop will be available via WebEx.
This workshop is part of the Teaching for Engagement series for GW instructors seeking strategies to improve the effectiveness of their virtual courses by increasing student engagement and building community.
