Research shows that students make a variety of assumptions about classes and professors based on the syllabus alone (Wheeler, Palmer, & Aneece, forthcoming). We’ll discuss ways you can make this document more inviting, motivating your students for the challenges in the course ahead. Please bring a laptop.
