Spend Less Time Grading: Tips, Tricks, and Rubrics

This event has already taken place, please don't try to go to it!
Workshop

Giving feedback is one of the most impactful things we do as teachers, but it can also be one of the most time-consuming and sometimes frustrating aspects of teaching. We will look at best practices for giving learning-focused feedback that is meaningful to students and ways to make giving this kind of feedback more manageable.

Please register here.

This workshop will be available to the GW community via WebEx.

This workshop is part of the Teaching for Engagement series for GW faculty members seeking to enhance their skills in the classroom to increase student engagement. Workshops in this series are sponsored by the University Teaching and Learning Center. Other workshops in this Fall 2019 series are Facilitating Meaningful and Engaging Discussions, Powering Up with Transparent Assignment Design. If you need feedback on assignment or syllabus design, advice on teaching methods, or ideas for new activities, consider booking a consultation with the University Teaching and Learning Center.
