One reason that Python is a popular programming language is because it can be easy for novices to learn. This workshop will introduce participants to programming by using Python to focus on the basic concepts that all programming languages build upon, and will also introduce participants to working with data in Python.
No prior programming knowledge is required, just a basic understanding of computer files and folders. Please bring a laptop to this workshop. In advance of the workshop, set up your computer as described at https://library.gwu.edu/python-workshop-setup.
This workshop is also offered on Monday, October 2, 2017 - 4:30pm to 6:30pm.
