Open and Affordable Course Materials

In preparation for the fall semester, GW Libraries and Academic Innovation encourages instructors to consider the cost of course materials when developing syllabi and work to use open-access materials and materials readily available through the catalog.

Join GW Libraries’s OER Team for a webinar on the use of Open Educational Resources (OER) in higher education. Together, we will explore questions commonly asked about the use of OERs:

  • What does Open Educational Resources mean? What quality indicators are used for these resources?
  • How are these resources licensed?
  • How can I find a low-cost replacement for my current course textbook?

Come learn more about OERs as you think about equity and affordability for your fall course.

Please register here.
