The Logic of Citations: Understanding MLA, APA, and Chicago Styles

This event has already taken place, please don't try to go to it!
The Logic of Citations

Are you baffled by how to cite your sources and why it is even necessary? This short workshop will clear up the confusion and help you understand the fundamentals of citation, as well as the particular expectations of the MLA, APA, and Chicago styles. Librarian Tolonda Henderson will discuss both print resources (books, journal articles, etc.) and digital resources (web pages, etc.).

This workshop will be available to the GW community in real time on February 20th, 2017 from 1:00 p.m.-1:30 p.m. via WebEx.

This workshop is also offered on Friday, March 3, 10:30 a.m.-11:00 a.m.

This workshop is part of the Citations Made Simple Workshop Series to help scholars understand the fundamentals of citation and learn to use free tools to organize your research and make citation easier. Other workshops in this Spring 2017 series are The Logic of Citations: Understanding MLA, APA, and Chicago Styles and Zotero In-Depth. All sessions will be first-come, first served.
