Keeping Up with New Research

This event has already taken place, please don't try to go to it!

A successful graduate student participates in the research conversation of their field. Librarian Shmuel Ben-Gad will show you how to keep up with new research in your area of study. You'll learn how to set up journal table of contents alerts, search alerts, and identify key journals in your field.

This workshop is also offered on Tuesday, October 18, 6 - 6:30 p.m.

This workshop is part of the Research at the Next Level Series, which offers the practical skills you need to improve your research and save time doing it. Other workshops in this Fall 2016 series are Basics of Graduate ResearchExploring Beyond Gelman: Advanced Research Skills, Citation Chasing & Cited Reference Searching, and Special Collections Revealed. All sessions will be first-come, first served.
