Faculty Open Textbook Workshop

In this workshop, GW faculty will learn about open educational resources (OER) and how adopting OER can increase students’ access to course materials and improve student learning. Faculty will also have an opportunity to get hands-on experience with open textbooks and talk with librarians who can answer questions such as how to find high quality OER.

Faculty attending this workshop will also have an opportunity to write a review for an open textbook in the Open Textbook Library where it will help other faculty who want to adopt open educational resources in their courses.. Upon completing the review, faculty will receive a $200 stipend.

Registration is required. This workshop will also be held on Thursday, December 10, 1:00-2:00pm. Attendees can indicate their preferred date during registration.
