Exploring Beyond Gelman: Advanced Research Skills

This event has already taken place, please don't try to go to it!

How do you know what research is out there? How can you discover what is available beyond the GW Libraries? Be sure with a comprehensive search of all published book literature using Worldcat. This workshop is best for disciplines that write books, especially the humanities and social sciences.

This workshop will be available to the GW community in real time on February 20th, 2017 from 9:30 a.m.-10:00 a.m. via WebEx. Exploring Beyond Gelman: Advanced Research Skills is offered consecutively with Basics of Graduate Research and Keeping Up with New Research.

This workshop is also offered on Friday, March 3, 2:00 p.m.-2:30 p.m.

This workshop is part of the Research at the Next Level Workshop Series, which offers the practical skills you need to improve your research and save time doing it. Other workshops in this Spring 2017 series are Crossing the Finish Line: Uploading Your Electronic Thesis or Dissertation (ETD), Basics of Graduate Research, Exploring Beyond Gelman: Advanced Research Skills, Keeping Up with New Research, Citation Chasing & Cited Reference Searching, Find and Use Open Access Images, and Copyright Basics for Graduate Students.
