Citation Chasing & Cited Reference Searching

This event has already taken place, please don't try to go to it!

How do you build on someone else's research? How do you find the research they used? Librarian Dorinne Banks will show you how to chase down those citations like a pro in this short workshop.

This workshop will be available to the GW community in real time on March 3rd, 2017 from 11:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. via WebEx.

This workshop is also offered on Monday, February 20, 1:30 p.m.-2:00 p.m.

This workshop is part of the Research at the Next Level Workshop Series, which offers the practical skills you need to improve your research and save time doing it. Other workshops in this Spring 2017 series are Crossing the Finish Line: Uploading Your Electronic Thesis or Dissertation (ETD), Basics of Graduate Research, Exploring Beyond Gelman: Advanced Research Skills, Keeping Up with New Research, Citation Chasing & Cited Reference Searching, Find and Use Open Access Images, and Copyright Basics for Graduate Students.
