|Blackboard||Course management system||Blackboard is GW's official course management system. You can use it to deliver course materials, assessments, and other learning activities to your students online.|
|Blackboard Ally||Accessibility tool||Blackboard Ally reviews the files uploaded to a Blackboard course, scores how well the content meets accessibility requirements and then provides guidance and tips on improving accessibility.|
|Blackboard Collaborate Ultra||Virtual classroom||Blackboard Collaborate is a real-time video conferencing tool that lets you add files, share applications, and use a virtual whiteboard to interact with students.|
|Echo360||Online lecture capture||Echo360 is a lecture capture tool to create and edit customized instructional video content.|
|Respondus LockDown Browser & Monitor||Anti-cheating tool||Respondus LockDown Browser is a custom browser that locks down the testing environment for Blackboard quizzes and exams. Respondus Monitor is a webcam feature for LockDown Browser that records students during online exams.|
|SafeAssign||Anti-plagiarism tool||SafeAssign is a plagiarism prevention service offered by Blackboard. It is a useful tool in educating students about plagiarism and the importance of proper citation for borrowed content.|
|TurningPoint||Polling tool||TurningPoint is a tool for instructors to run impromptu polls or use prepared PowerPoint presentations with embedded questions to engage students in active learning and make class time more interactive.|
|VoiceThread||Discussion tool||VoiceThread is a platform for creating rich, asynchronous conversations around media like images, documents, presentations, and videos.|
|Zoom||Video conferencing tool||Zoom is a video conferencing tool that can be used to host live class sessions, office hours, or other meetings. Zoom meetings can accommodate up to 300 participants and offer features such as screen sharing, chat, recording, breakout rooms, and polling.|
