Closed

The Gelman Library building is closed for a significant HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) system maintenance project. Himmelfarb Health Sciences Library remains available for students and faculty of SMHS, GWSPH, and SON. For faculty and for students enrolled in summer courses at other GW schools, the Burns Law Library is available through August 10, 2026.

Global Resources Center (GRC)

The Global Resources Center focuses upon the political, socio-economic, historical, and cultural aspects of countries and regions around the globe from the 20th century onward, with specialized resource centers on the areas below.

 

About the Global Resources Center

The Global Resources Center (GRC) is a specialized library service point tailored to the needs of GW’s globally-focused academic programs. The GRC offers a unique combination of print, electronic, and digital resources, including many in English and foreign languages.

Specialists in regional and country-level studies are available to GW students, faculty, and the broader DC community of researchers and analysts to guide research and assist in locating difficult-to-find international research materials.
