The Shapiro Scholarship at Oxford University provides GW undergraduates with the opportunity to study at one of the world’s most prestigious universities through a long-standing partnership with the University of Oxford. Established in 1990 by the J.B. and Maurice C. Shapiro Charitable Trust, the scholarship recognizes students who excel academically, demonstrate leadership, and are committed to making a positive difference in their communities. This award allows GW students to broaden their impact through experiential learning and post-graduate study overseas.
The scholarship is for all or part of the student's tuition and fees, room, board, books, and personal expenses at the University of Oxford for up to two years. The amount of the award will be based on the financial circumstances of the recipient and available funds.
