The Beinecke Scholarship Program seeks to encourage and enable highly motivated students in their junior year of college who have financial need to pursue opportunities available to them and to be courageous in the selection of a research- or creative-focused course of graduate study in the arts, humanities, or social sciences.
Each scholar receives $5,000 immediately prior to entering graduate school and an additional $30,000 while attending graduate school. Scholars are expected to use all funding within six years of completing their undergraduate studies.

- To receive university endorsement, you must:
- submit the Intent to Apply Form by August 31, by 11:59 pm EST, and
- complete the best draft of your application through InfoReady by December 1, by 11:59 pm EST.
- If you are endorsed, you have the opportunity to revise your application based on endorsement committee feedback.
