Your Undergraduate Research Roadmap at GW

This workshop introduces undergraduate students to a clear, step-by-step roadmap for getting involved in research at GW. Whether you’re curious about how to begin or looking for ways to deepen your experience, this session will demystify the process and highlight the many tools, programs, and supports available to you.

We will walk through the full research journey, from exploring your interests and finding mentors to applying for competitive opportunities and disseminating your work. Students will learn how to navigate GW’s research ecosystem, including research advising, Blackboard resources, Creating Knowledge workshops, meetings with Center for Undergraduate Fellowships and Research Peer Ambassadors, and multiple funding opportunities. The session will also introduce pathways to transcript recognition, summer Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REUs), and nationally competitive scholarships and fellowships.
