The Gelman Library building is closed for a significant HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) system maintenance project. Himmelfarb Health Sciences Library remains available for students and faculty of SMHS, GWSPH, and SON. For faculty and for students enrolled in summer courses at other GW schools, the Burns Law Library is available through August 10, 2026.

Teaching Day 2026

Teaching Day is a signature annual program hosted by the Center for Teaching Excellence that dedicates a full day to celebrating teaching at GW. The day will include dynamic sessions from GW faculty, a lunch and keynote, panel presentations, and other opportunities to connect with colleagues. We understand that people have many other responsibilities; we welcome partial attendance at any point in the day.
