Stop by this informal open house anytime between 11am-12pm to learn about the changes that are coming for NIH Grant Funding Proposals.

Please RSVP if you can join, or if you would like to request materials or additional learning opportunities to be sent to you.

What are the top three things you need to know about the new NIH Data Management and Sharing Policy?

  • New required NIH Data Management and Sharing Plan template. We’ll have copies of the template and some sample completed forms. Submissions will be rejected without this new form after January 25, 2023.
  • Costs for preparing data for sharing, as well as the costs of sharing in repositories may now be included in your budget. We’ll have sample templates to help you as you think about this budgeting.
  • Repositories. There are many repositories out there which meet NIH recommendations for quality repositories. We’ll share information on some of the best.

Representatives from Libraries and Academic Innovation, Himmelfarb Health Sciences Library, Office of the Vice Provost for Research (OVPR/Office of Sponsored Projects & Office of Research Integrity), and Research Technology Services (RTS) will be present to support you with these new requirements.

Please note: you will need to be signed in as a visitor if your GWorld card is not enabled for Ross Hall.
