This first of two workshops will provide a brief overview of using Tableau Public. Participants will learn how to connect to data, explore the Tableau interface, and build simple visualizations based on structured data.
Participants are encouraged to download Tableau Public for free before attending the workshop.
This workshop is part of the Visualizing Data and Presenting Your Research series for those looking for creative and effective ways to communicate their research findings to wide audience. In-person attendance of this workshop is open to GW students, faculty, and staff whose GWorld allows them to tap into Gelman Library. No visitors will be allowed into Gelman to attend this workshop. If you do not have access to Gelman, please attend online.
