The 4th, 5th, and 6th floors, including the book stacks, are CLOSED to patrons while we make building improvements. Study space and reservable study rooms are available on the 1st and 2nd (entrance) floors. Books are available via Retrieval and Pick Up. Books located in areas of active work may take an additional 1-2 days to retrieve.

This first of two workshops will provide a brief overview of using Tableau Public. Participants will learn how to connect to data, explore the Tableau interface, and build simple visualizations based on structured data.

Participants are encouraged to download Tableau Public for free before attending the workshop. 

This workshop is part of the Visualizing Data and Presenting Your Research series for those looking for creative and effective ways to communicate their research findings to wide audience. Workshops focus on the tools for visual communication using maps, images, research posters, podcasts, video, etc. If you need personalized assistance with a data visualization project, consider booking a consultation with one of our librarian-experts.
