Hours Ask Us

The Gelman Library building is closed through August 23 for a significant HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) system maintenance project. Himmelfarb Health Sciences Library remains available for students and faculty of SMHS, GWSPH, and SON. For faculty and for students enrolled in summer courses at other GW schools, the Burns Law Library is available through August 10, 2026.

Getting Started with Tableau

This workshop will provide a brief overview of using Tableau Desktop Public Edition, explaining how to connect to data, exploring the Tableau interface, creating calculations, and building simple visualizations based on structured data. 

Prior to the workshop, attendees are encouraged to install Tableau Desktop Public Edition for free on their personal devices. Complete the registration information and click on "Download the app."

All sessions are free to GW students, faculty, staff, and alumni. GW has an institutional commitment to ensuring that all of our programs and events are accessible for all individuals.
