Welcome to the Eckles Library

Welcome to Eckles Library! We are located on the George Washington University's Mount Vernon Campus, just a short ride from the Foggy Bottom campus.

As a member of the GW University Libraries, Eckles is dedicated to serving the information needs of all GW students, faculty and staff. Eckles provides a comfortable, relaxed academic environment for study, award-winning staff for research help, and free tutoring to help our students excel.

We are also an integral part of student life on the Mount Vernon Campus, featuring student artwork and exhibits, student events, free DVD rentals and coffee for that crucial 2am fix.

If you're working on a research project and would like to meet with a librarian, schedule your appointment online using the research calendar.

Eckles Library will remain closed for the Summer and Fall 2020 semesters.

Remote library services and resources and virtual tutoring services are still available to GW students, faculty, and staff. Assistance with all services, including locating print materials or requesting materials be digitized, is available.
