Looking Back at the GW Class of 1968
The Special Collections Research Center invites you to revisit moments from your time at GW! The year of 1968 is remembered as a tumultuous year — a year in which social change fused with student engagement. Your class symbolizes the George Washington University community’s embrace of this experience and so we want to celebrate your time as a Colonial! Each images has been adopted as a part of GW history and preserved in our university archival collections, most of which links out to an online edition of the Hatchet or Cherry Tree.
The Special Collections Research Center is home to the University Archives. To learn more about what's available for research visit the collections page. To read up on GW history in general visit GW Past. You can contact Special Collections staff to learn more about these resources or schedule a visit to the reading room.
