Love Data Week

Love Data Week brings the GW community together to celebrate data, strengthen data literacy, build a culture of responsible data use, and promote data privacy and stewardship.

Our annual celebration includes workshops and events, interactive displays throughout Eckles, Gelman, and Himmelfarb Libraries, and opportunities to explore data in creative and engaging ways.

Scary Data Week

Scary Data Week focuses on the darker side of working with data. Through workshops, stories, and activities, we share our “data horror stories” – from corrupted files and lost documentation to improper analyses and other data disasters.

Most importantly, Scary Data Week is about learning from those mistakes. We share practical tips, tools, and strategies to help researchers avoid their own data nightmares.
