Make an appointment using Penji
What is Penji?
Penji serves as a central resource on campus for students to connect with academic support resources. Academic Commons partners with several other resources on campus to offer students a user-friendly and accessible way to access tutoring and other academic support programs. Penji can be accessed using a web browser or through an app (available on iOS or Android).
Communities in Penji
Penji is organized by different "Communities" representing different resources. When you first log-in, you will have the opportunity to join one or more of these communities. Once you have joined one, you will have the ability to navigate between all of the communities available to you.
Sometimes functionality may be different between communities. Some communities, like the Academic Commons Peer Tutoring community, offer one-on-one appointments, while others, like the LA Review Sessions & Office Hours community, offer group sessions. Other communities may have specific rules or guidelines within their programs as well. Always make sure to check the respective program's website to make sure you are up-to-date.
