The last workshop in the GIS series will highlight some of the the more advanced options available through the QGIS platform, focusing on how to draw towards conclusions from data sets and work with both raster and vector data formats. Some experience required. Participants should have atttended workshops 1 & 2 or have experience with GIS or GIS software.
This workshop is part of the Visualizing Data with GIS Workshop Series, which offers both introductory and in-depth sessions on using geographic information systems. Other workshops in this spring 2017 series are Introduction to GIS, Finding GIS Data & Resources, GIS Interface Basics, Completing a Map, Spatial Analysis with QGIS, and Interpreting and Obtaining Data from Historical Maps.
