In honor of Women's History Month, drop by the March Rare Book Friday to learn more about the intersecting identities of women across several centuries and geographic regions. This inclusive exhibit features rare books and archival materials documenting the lives and works of a diverse selection of women of different races, ethnicities, religions, sexual identities, gender expression, economic status, age or ability.
Rare Book Friday is a monthly open house, featuring an up-close look at the materials of GW's special collections. Archivists choose a different collection for display each month and are on hand to a discuss the books and answer questions. This is a great opportunity to interact with rare and historic items that you can access in Gelman Library with the help of special collections staff. Learn how to enhance your research using the rich trove of primary sources available in GW's Special Collections Research Center.
