Keeping Up with New Research

 Keeping Up with New Research

A successful graduate student participates in the research conversation of their field. Librarian David Ettinger will show you how to keep up with new research in your area of study. You'll learn how to set up journal table of contents alerts, search alerts, and identify key journals in your field.

Keeping up with New Research along with Basics of Graduate Research in Engineering and Exploring Beyond Gelman: Advance Research Skills, is a part of the Researching at the Next Level Workshop Series. This series will be available to the GW community in real time and via WebEx. Attend via WebEx by clicking here.

This workshop is part of the Lit Review How To Bootcamp, a day-long series of short workshops designed to introduce and explain tools for starting that thesis or dissertation.
