Find and Use Open Access Images in Your Thesis or Dissertation

Find and Use Open Access Images in Your Thesis or Dissertation

Do you plan to use artworks, photos, or diagrams to illustrate your thesis? Librarians Shira Eller and Morgan Stoddard will help save your ETD from getting snarled by copyright restrictions! Learn more about finding openly accessible visual content and how to properly cite those images.  We will also briefly discuss obtaining copyright permissions.

This workshop is part of the ETD Success Series, which covers the practical information you need to complete your masterpiece. Other workshops in this Fall 2016 series are Crossing the Finish Line: Uploading Your Electronic Thesis or Dissertation (ETD) and Copyright Basics for Graduate Students.  All sessions will be first-come, first served.

This workshop will be available to the GW community in real time on November 1, 2016, from 12:00pm-1:00pm. via WebEx.  To access the WebEx, you must register in advance using your GW email address. No registration is required to attend the event in person.
