Basics of Graduate Research in Engineering

Workshop

What are the basics to Engineering Research? How do you begin? Librarian Debbie Bezanson will give you tips on how to begin your search. Save time and frustration by discovering how to find the right databases and resources for your discipline using GW Libraries’ tools.

Basics of Graduate Research in Engineering along with Keeping up with New Research and Exploring Beyond Gelman: Advance Research Skills, is a part of the Researching at the Next Level Workshop Series. This series will be available to the GW community in real time and via WebEx. Attend via WebEx by clicking here.

This workshop is part of the Lit Review How To Bootcamp, a day-long series of short workshops designed to introduce and explain tools for starting that thesis or dissertation. Attend one workshop or all.  Other workshops in this Fall 2017 bootcamp are Keeping up with New Research, Exploring Beyond Gelman: Advance Research Skills, The Logic of Citations: Understanding MLA, APA, & Chicago Styles, Citation Chasing & Cited Reference Searching, Zotero In-Depth, and Exploring the New Refworks.
