University Archivist Bergis Jules Featured on the Kojo Nnamdi Show

The Kojo Nnamdi Show's July 23 "Tech Tuesday" program featured University Archivist Bergis Jules, George Blood of George Blood LP Audio Visual Preservation, and Bert Lyons of the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress discussing how best to preserve your family history. Be it photographs, letters, home movies, or digital photos, all family treasures need proper storage conditions so that future generations can enjoy them. Jules offered best practices for storing these valuable items in your home, and also discussed his work in surveying African American archival collections and making them more accessible with the Black Metropolis Research Consortium Survey in Chicago and the potential for similar work in the Washington area.
